The pest problem is hard to get rid of if you want to grow your own organic food. Vinegar is a good alternative. It kills weeds and enhances the life of a plant.
If you pour apple cider vinegar onto weeds the unwanted garden growth will disappear.
Acidic soil is good for plants like ardenias, holly, azaleas, rhododendrons, hydrangeas, and begonias. Mix one gallon of water with 1 cup of white vinegar and spray the mixture on the plants to help them grow.
Apple cider vinegar can also help you get rid of the fruit flies. Mix one cup of apple cider vinegar with a tablespoon of molasses, a quarter cup of sugar and a cup of water. Pour this mixture into a container and hang it on the fruit tree. You will see that fruit flies will get trapped in it.
If you spend a day into the garden, you can wind up with dirt and allergens on your hands. Distilled apple cider vinegar cleanses your hands and you won’t get an itch.
Soak cotton balls in distilled vinegar and place them in a 35mm film container with holes. Place them in the garden to keep rabbits away.
You can also soak your garden overnight in vinegar to get rid of rust and grime. Rinse off the vinegar with water.
If you add two tablespoons of vinegar and a teaspoon of sugar to a quart of water before adding the freshly cut flowers, they will last longer.
